About
Educated in architectural design and fine art, Kristen L’Esperance is a multidisciplinary artist and designer who seeks to synthesize ideas across mediums. Her practice is rooted in experimentation—using form, material, and spatial composition to explore and resolve the unique questions posed by each project.
A native Vermonter based in Charlotte, L’Esperance holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont and a Master’s from Pratt Institute. Over the past two decades, she has exhibited widely in galleries and participated in numerous artist residencies both in the U.S. and abroad. Before attending graduate school, she was represented by The Doll-Anstadt Gallery. She is the Principal and Owner of an architectural design studio, where she integrates fine art practice into her built environments, creating work that is both conceptually rigorous and materially expressive.
